Dermapen, also referred to as microneedling, dermaroller or EDS, is perhaps our most popular skin rejuvenation treatment. The Dermapen uses hundreds of tiny micro-needles to stimulate the natural production of collagen and elastin under the skin’s surface. Our expertise enables us to tailor this treatment to each individual patient’s skin condition by increasing or decreasing the depth of the pens micro-needles.
This is a premium anti-ageing treatment, helping to repair, renew and refresh tired, wrinkled or sagging facial skin, smoothing away fine lines and wrinkles and generating new skin cells. It is also an outstanding skin resurfacing treatment, ideal for treating delicate areas of the face, e.g. fine lines (link) and wrinkles (link) under and around the eyes, as well as a variety of skin conditions including acne scarring (link), large pores (link) and pock marks.
Dermapen is suitable for almost all skin types. Prior to treatment we will cleanse and prepare your skin, before applying a prescription anesthetic for approximately 45 minutes before treatment takes place. For optimum results we recommend a course of 3-5 full treatments followed by regular maintenance treatments. These will be discussed with you at your consultation.
